Just like that, we have word on a few activities that the Sioux City Knights can take part in! Keep reading for dates (FYI – even if you are not on Facebook – you can always ‘see’ the Facebook feed on the right side of our website – news & updates go there 1st!)
MAY 16 – Sunday – 1pm – Headid Park
Softball practice – Bring your own bat, glove, water etc. Anyone attending including coaches, athletes, parents caregivers must sign a Covid Participation Form. We will have these on hand. Please plan to attend so we know who is interested. See you on the field!!
MAY 22 – Saturday – 12:30 – Steinbeck’s
Committee meeting to discuss upcoming events: Modified Track Meet & Softball Tournament, Leeds Pancake Breakfast, & Leeds Day parade.
JUNE 12 – Saturday
Modified Area Track & Field Games – LeMars Community School. (12:30 or 1:15)
Athletes may enter 2 events: 50 meter walk/dash, 100 meter walk/dash, Standing Long Jump, Softball Throw & Mini Jav. Notify Sue ASAP with your requested events (please include your date of birth)
Spectators will be allowed, but can only be in the stands. Anyone who attends will be required to have a signed Covid Protocal Code Of Conduct & Risk form, you can get this from Sue or on line. This is open to all athletes, not just those who have participated in track previously. No lunch will be provide. As we received more information we will share with all of you. We do have to send a registration, so please let us know ASAP if you wish to take part.
JULY 10 – Northwest Area Softball Tournament – Chautauqua Park
The Knights will be hosting/running this tournament for the State of Iowa, so many volunteers will be needed. Time to be determined.
